Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel secured the 15th pole position of his supremely dominant 2011 season in qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos, the German setting a scorching pace in Q3 to seal top spot with time to spare.

World champion Sebastian Vettel made the step forwards that he had promised in the final hour of practice for the Brazilian GP, the German topping another close-run session for the Red Bull team from the McLaren of Jenson Button.

McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton continued his late-season resurgence as he finished at the top of the times in the Friday afternoon practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix, but there was little to choose between the frontrunners.

Red Bull's Mark Webber topped the opening session of the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend, making a rare appearance at the top of the timesheets to finish ahead of McLaren duo Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton.

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton took his third win of the 2011 season with a dominant drive at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, leading from start to finish after Sebastian Vettel was eliminated on the opening lap with a punctured tyre.

Sebastian Vettel equalled the record for pole positions in a single season with his 14th top spot of the season in Abu Dhabi, claiming pole in a breathtaking showdown with the McLaren drivers at the end of the qualifying session.

The McLaren team completed a clean sweep of fastest practice times in Abu Dhabi, as Lewis Hamilton topped the final hour of practice at the Yas Marina circuit from Red Bull Racing duo Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber.  

Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button enjoyed a near-perfect Friday evening session over in Abu Dhabi, with the McLaren pair finishing 1-2 in the times as rivals Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso both crashed out at the first corner.

McLaren driver Jenson Button topped the times in the Friday morning practice session in Abu Dhabi, finishing just ahead of Red Bull's Mark Webber and the other McLaren of Lewis Hamilton in a tight scrap at the front.

Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel continued his dominant form in the 2011 Formula One season so far, leading every lap of the Indian GP at the Buddh International Circuit to take his eleventh win of the season.

Sebastian Vettel took his 13th, and Red Bull's 16th Pole Position of the 2011 season in Qualifying for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix, while Lewis Hamilton set the second quickest time, although Mark Webber will start second. 

Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel moved back to his familiar place at the top of the times in the final practice session for the Indian Grand Prix, the German easing ahead of his rivals with his final lap of the session.

Ferrari driver Felipe Massa ended up as the slightly surprising pacesetter on Friday in India, with the Brazilian coming through the string of late-session qualifying runs in FP2 to end up faster than the rest of his frontrunning rivals.  

McLaren's Lewis Hamilton left it late to top the opening practice session at the Buddh International Circuit, ending up half a second clear of the Red Bulls after a frantic and action-packed opening session at the new Indian venue.  

Sebastian Vettel secured his tenth win of his championship-winning 2011 season, as the Red Bull Racing team wrapped up the constructors championship with a double podium finish at the Korea International Circuit.
