Ferrari's brand new 2012 Formula One challenger will be unveiled at their Maranello headquarters on February 3rd, team boss Stefano Domenicali confirmed to reporters on Wednesday, with the team aiming to end their title-less streak.
Ferrari's new car will be the replacement for 2011's unsuccessful 150° Italia, which secured just one win throughout last season.
The new machine has been codenamed the 663, and will break cover for the first time on February 3rd.
A shakedown test of the new car will then be carried out after the launch or on February 4th, before the team heads to the first pre-season test at the Jerez track on February 7th.
Domenicali confirmed the details of the launch at Ferrari's traditional pre-season sponsor-pleasing 'Wroom' event.
The new car is the most eagerly-anticipated Ferrari for some time, with the team eager to avoid another year of disappointment after going three years without a title win.
But Domenicali said that he was comfortable with the situation, despite the pressure on the team to succeed this year.
"To take the new season with anxiety does not help, so it is useless to feel stress," he rambled at reporters from the Madonna di Campiglio event.
"We do know the season is going to be important and delicate from many points of view, but this is part of the sport and this type of situation is part of the context in which Ferrari has been operating in."
He added: "Clearly there are expectations we have to manage in the best possible way. The emotional side is important, especially in a team like ours.
"My approach and the approach I have always had is of being calm, relaxed and determined - without feeling de-motivated if things should not go better at the start, and not being too positive if things go well at the beginning."
The team's last title win was their constructors triumph in 2008, with Kimi Raikkonen's win in 2007 their last drivers title.
